Our dove release started with a dream. A dream I had, when a flock of beautiful white birds soared outside our window and right across a rainbow after a thunderstorm one summer day. My heart soared with them and I knew in that instant that I had to have some of those beautiful white birds.
During this period of my life I was searching for something new to do, after being a “stay at home” mom for over 25 years. As an artist I knew that I wanted my new venture to be creative, as well as a thing of beauty. I also knew that I wanted to do something that would allow me to serve others. Just when I was about to give up ever finding someone who would sell me some of these beautiful birds my dream became a reality.
A generous couple who had been in the dove release business gave me a half dozen young white racers. That was about a year and a half ago.
Watching them soar lifts my heart and spirit more than ever, and I find that I want to share this feeling with as many people as I can.
